Eka defoamers for improved drainage
By adding Eka Chemicals defoamers to the wet end, you improve drainage, which means dryer paper going into the press section. A dryer sheet coming into the press section makes it possible to load the presses more without squashing the sheet.

Our products help you produce a stronger, better-consolidated sheet, with less remaining water needing evaporation. The main concern is using the correct dosage. A certain amount of defoamer is needed to achieve the required drainage performance. Too much defoamer, however, often adversely affects the performance of sizing agents and dry-strength agents, causing or worsening deposit problems.
