Better performance, less chemicals used
Compozil® improves flocculation by evenly distributing the flocs along the fibers. This promotes better dewatering and retention. Improved retention means the amount of material recirculating in the system is minimized, ensuring better runnability and higher paper quality.
Compozil® Systems
The present generation of Compozil includes a wide range of highly efficient silica products that can be combined with starch or synthetic polymers for virtually all types of paper grades.
Compozil® Original
Suitable for most fine paper and board applications. A microparticle system for retention, drainage and dry strength, based on anionic silica sol in combination with cationic starch.
Compozil® Plus
A system for all fine-paper grades and liquid-packaging board, based on anionic silica soil in combination with cationic high-molecular-weight polyacrylamide or cationic starch. Available for all pH ranges.
Compozil® Select
Suitable for fine paper, white top liner, bleached board, wood-containing and recycled grades. Our most advanced system, based on our unique patented nanoparticle technology, with a structured anionic silica soil working in combination with cationic high-molecular-weight polyacrylamide or cationic starch, with the addition of anionic trash catchers. Available for all pH ranges.
