ASA (Alkenyl Succinic Anhydride)
ASA is very suitable for production of printing papers, gypsum board and packaging papers. Usable within a broad pH range. It also provides an on-machine cure. ASA needs to be emulsified on-site.

Eka SA can be used in cases where a full cure is desired before the size press and where it is important to maintain a high frictional coefficient in the paper product. It improves runnability and preserves paper's dimensional stability by limiting penetration of the size-press solution into the sheet.
