Polyaluminum chlorides (PAC) for internal and external water treatment applications in pulp and paper production. Used as the primary coagulant in potable water and industrial water treatment plants, PAC is an alternative to coagulants such as alum, which in many cases eliminates or, at least, greatly reduces the need for pH adjustment chemicals, coagulant aids and filter aids, which reduces overall treatment costs. Turbidity and color removal are greatly improved.
