Eka SP AE/CE Series
Surfactant-free, anionic and cationic aqueous dispersions of styrene-acrylic ester co-polymers. Used alone or combined with starch as a surface agent for paper and board. May be used with waste-based fiber, which is difficult to size internally.
Eka SP AP/CP Series
Anionic or cationic aqueous micro-dispersions of modified polyurethane. Mainly used with starch as surface-sizing agents to give a high degree of hydrophobicity to the paper surface.
Eka WX Series
Cationic polymer-stabilized AKD/wax dispersions for use in moulded pulp products and board applications. Wax emulsions for addition to the paper surface are also included in the EKA WX series.

NYACOL colloidal silica is a dispersion of microfiche silica in an aqueous solution. This binder serves as the glue that holds the ceramic shell together. NYACOL colloidal silica is a standard slurry component and can be used in either primary or back-up slurries. Eka Chemicals manufactures NYACOL binders at plants throughout the world.
